10% of Proceeds go to Conservation Initiatives

Conservation Initiatives I Support Through Art

Hannah is directly inspired by nature. Her “why” for creating art comes from her work as a conservationist, field biologist and now environmental policy student. Her lifelong mission has been to help fund and continue conservation work so that we can continue to fight against climate change, biodiversity loss, and habitat destruction. Hannah centers these themes of conservation in her subjects and art, creating bold images that she hopes invoke a sense of urgency and purpose for saving the species we share the planet with. 10% of proceeds will be distributed amongst the three initiatives mentioned below.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW)

In a time when our parks and wildlife are under more threats than ever, it is important that we support local initiatives that directly support the conservation happening around us. As a Colorado resident, Hannah chooses to support the Colorado Parks and Wildlife as they continue to push forward conservation initiatives despite federal funding and regulations issues.

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)

The Natural Resources Defense Council takes part in legal actions that directly confront the the climate crisis, protect the planet's wildlife and wild places, and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities. In a time when these fundamental rights are under attack worldwide, it is important to support initiatives that fight back and provide voices for the voiceless.

The World Food Programme (WFP)

The World Food Program is responsible for providing life saving aid and essential supplies such as food and water to people experiencing conflict. Hannah believes that the heart of conservation is caring, but that it is difficult to care about conservation when your basic needs aren’t met. These needs include access to food and clean drinking water, usable and clean sanitation, hospitals and healthcare, affordable and reliable housing, a livable wage, and to not live under constant threat of violence. The WFP is instrumental in many of these conflict zones by being one of the few sources of aid for these populations. It is so important to ensure that we are giving voices to the voiceless and helping to bring the whole of humanity to a more peaceful, equitable, and understanding place so that we can devote time, energy, and resources to conservation efforts.
